Client-side insight
Five years as a client-side project manager means we understand your expectations, reporting requirements and risk sensitivities before works commence on site.
Commercial contractor / Scarborough, Western Australia
A Western Australian contractor working inside operational government facilities, combining genuine tier 2 commercial construction experience with five years spent on the client side of the table.
Who we are
Parx Projects delivers new builds, refurbishments and maintenance across Western Australia. We combine genuine tier 2 commercial construction experience with something most contractors cannot offer: our director has recently completed five years on the client side as a project manager.
Our core business is light commercial works: maintenance, refurbishments and upgrade projects within operational government facilities. Every project is managed personally by the director, ensuring accountability, responsiveness and quality.

About Haydn
15+ years building experience.
I started on the tools as a carpenter, moved into tier 2 commercial, then spent five years on the client side running projects for the people paying for them. I hold a Bachelor of Construction Management and corporate membership with the Australian Institute of Building.
The client side experience changed how I build. I raise the RFIs months before the work needs them. I price the scope rather than a guess at it. And the defects list gets closed out before practical completion, because I have been the one chasing a builder for it.
Carpentry and cabinet making stay in house. The rest comes from trades I already know. Either way you are dealing with me, and you get an answer the same day.

Press play to see how we run a job, from first scope to final handover.
We scope the works properly before pricing them, so the number you receive is the number the job is built to.
Contract administration and subcontractor coordination are run by the same person who priced the work.
Site supervision and safety are not delegated. Works inside operating facilities are sequenced around the people still using them.
Quality assurance through delivery, and defects managed to close-out rather than left with the client.
The outcome
The works complete, the documentation handed across, and the defects closed out rather than left with you to chase.
Approach
Five years as a client-side project manager means we understand your expectations, reporting requirements and risk sensitivities before works commence on site.
The person you meet at the tender is the person who runs your site.
A lean structure means no excessive overhead passed on to you. Sharp pricing, tailored delivery.
Current scheduling, documentation and communication tools to keep you informed and in control throughout.
Every job we take on is one we expect to be judged by, and the director's name is on all of it. That shows up as attention on your project, not a line in a brochure.
We build relationships, not just buildings. Our goal is to be your go-to contractor for years to come.
